Our students are excited to announce that their Forest Education memorial (SM 29/HM 35) has passed both the House and the Senate! The memorial asks the Governor to declare a Forest Appreciation Day, thanks the various state agencies that protect our forests, and encourages those agencies to continue to educate the public about the importance of forests and how to keep them safe. Thank you, Senator Stewart and Representative Serrato, for sponsoring our memorial! Way to go Wild Friends!
