Sue GeorgeSue George, Attorney

Sue George is a Senior Attorney at the UNM School of Law, and has been with the Wild Friends Program since 2006. Sue was previously with Defenders of Wildlife and the Western Environmental Law Center, and has taught Wildlife Law as an adjunct professor.  She is a native of New Mexico, loves to hike and explore the Land of Enchantment, and lives in the North Valley of Albuquerque with her husband, two children, and an assortment of dogs, cats, fish, and snakes.

Allyson WileyAllyson Wiley, Manager

Allyson Wiley is the Manager for Wild Friends contributing to the overall organization and implementation of the program. In 2020, Allyson graduated from The University of Michigan with a MS in Natural Resources and an MA in Educational Studies. She previously worked as an educator for undergraduate students and held various positions in environmental education organizations as she completed her studies. Outside of Wild Friends, you can find Allyson reading, practicing yoga, and exploring natural areas all across the Southwest.

Janie ChodoshJanie Chodosh, Educator

Janie Chodosh is an environmental educator and writer with a love of birds and all things wild. She has been the state educator of the New Mexico Audubon and a public school teacher. Outside of her role as educator at Wild Friends, she teaches ecology and environmental science at Santa Fe Community College. She has four published books, all of which deal with themes of science and conservation.
